More often clients with violet lips come for help. This problem is similar to the one with blue eyebrows – the pigment is injected too deep into the skin because of strong pressure of the machine.

When the lips are overfilled with pigment even the warmest tones become bluish. Besides, when the capillaries on the lips are damaged their own skin pigment is formed (of black, blue, violet, brown colours) called hemosiderin. It is very steady and can stay in the skin up to ten years!

And in case of deeply injected pigment refracted by violet the colouring agents look like ink or felt-tip pen on the lips.

Low quality pigments can produce unexpected shades, for example, of aqua colour, even if the procedure has been performed correctly.

How can it be corrected?

First of all the undesired colour is covered with a correcting pigment. For lips it is orange. It can be used both by itself and in combination with the skin-coloured pigment (but only when the crusts come off, peeling will stop and lips will become of skin-brown colour). The number of correcting procedures depends on the depth of pigment injection (from 3 to 10 with at intervals of a month). Further on lips are corrected similar to the eyebrows: colour is chosen and correction is performed.

In order for the result not to be disappointing the client has to understand some important things.

Choosing decorative cosmetics the make-up artist relies on his knowledge of pictorial methods, designs shape by means of light and shadow, and he has a wide range of colours to help him with that.

And permanent make-up is essentially graphical. Here particular importance belongs to the line, whose purpose is to emphasize and correct the shape, give her some "character".

The success of the permanent make-up depends not only on the professional skills of the artist, but on the correctly defined task by the client, as well. The client must have a clear understanding of what he wants.

The client wants the permanent make-up to look natural and be almost invisible. What rules are considered obligatory in this case?

·      The eye contour line shall cover only the eyelashes area, creating the so called effect of magnificent eyelashes, and not go beyond the lateral angle of the eye.

·      The lips shaping line shall be the same colour as the natural red border. At the same time the artificial line can be slightly lighter or darker depending on the design.

At the same time it is important for the new line not to go beyond the natural white of the lips. Otherwise its artificial origin will be too noticeable half face.

·      Eyebrow line is created using either the technique of soft shading or the technique imitating natural hair growth.

·      Colours of such make-up shall correspond to the natural colours of the face.

  Одним из самых тонких вопросов в процедуре перманентного макияжа является подбор нужного оттенка цвета пигмента.
• Сложность заключается в том, что мастер-перманентного макияжа никогда не может на 100% быть уверен в окончательном результате, так как один и то же пигмент может выглядеть совершенно по разному в зависимости от толщины кожи клиента, ее цвета, цвета красной каймы и даже цвета эмали зубов. Кроме того, цвет видоизменяется в зависимости от глубины введения пигмента в кожу.
• Когда ко мне приходит клиент на процедуру я изучаю его внешность. И не только лицо и волосы, но и его цветовую гамму в одежде и макияже (если человек выбрал эти цвета, значит ему в них удобно и комфортно).
  
  
  
• После этого внимательно слушаю все его пожелания и задаю уточняющие вопросы. За время такой беседы я уже составляю себе колористический портрет клиента и исходя из своего опыта работы подбираю варианты пигментов.

One of the most delicate issues in the permanent makeup procedure is to choose the right shades of color pigment.

The difficulty lies in the fact that any master of permanent makeup can never be 100% sure of the final result, since each pigment can react differently depending on the thickness of the client's skin,its colour,

the colour of the vermillion and even the colour of the teeth. Also, the colour can vary depending on the insertion depth of the pigment into the skin.

When any client comes to me for a procedure, I carefully study the individuals entire appearance including skin tone and hair colour but also their present choice of make up colours as this is what they are currently comfortable with. I then listen carefully to what the client wants to see in the final result, asking very direct questions about their requirements and from this building a picture in my head of the clients finished treatment to ensure a fantastic result is achieved with correctly chosen pigments.
