Pigment Selection- My Experience

One of the most delicate issues in the permanent makeup procedure is to choose the right shades of color pigment.
The difficulty lies in the fact that any master of permanent makeup can never be 100% sure of the final result, since each pigment can react differently depending on the thickness of the client's skin, its colour,
the colour of the vermillion and even the colour of the teeth. Also, the colour can vary depending on the insertion depth of the pigment into the skin.

When any client comes to me for a procedure, I carefully study the individuals entire appearance including skin tone and hair colour but also their present choice of make up colours as this is what they are currently comfortable with. I then listen carefully to what the client wants to see in the final result, asking very direct questions about their requirements and from this building a picture in my head of the clients finished treatment to ensure a fantastic result is achieved with correctly chosen pigments.
