Why pigments change colors... 🎨

Question from a master:
Is it okay that the color on the lips starts "playing" after the procedure in 2-3 months?

Yes, it is. I explain why. When we do permanent makeup the pigment is situated as the scab in all layers of the skin, from upper dermis to the epidermis and on the surface of the skin. The skin regeneration process starts right after the procedure. It consists of the whole epidermis regeneration cycle and the pigment inner fixation because of the collagen-elastinic capsule. The regeneration period lasts not less than 30 days. (According to the Japanese scientists, your age +10 = duration of the recovery period). During this period the color of the permanent makeup will change: The color is bright during 5-7 days (because of the scab), then it becomes paler in 2 weeks (epidermis peels off, regenerates and gets covered by the pigment milky pellicle). Then color appears within next few days (because of the epidermis transparency regeneration). Color changes its temperature, density and brightness. You can assess the results only in 1-2 months and do the correction if it is needed.
